The world is full of corrections
Forget right or wrong
Just when and why
When did this correction become
Valid to not just my life
But others as well?
Why is this correction
Correct?
When did that happen?
Why did it happen?
When I say something
You're right there
To speak the word(s)
I meant to speak.,
When I live the life
I feel is right for me
You're right there
To point out the road
I meant to turn onto.
Why is that?
Why is it when you tell me
You love me
And I tell you
Who I am
You tell me
I'm confused
And correct me?
As if my life and words
Are written out in pencil.
When you see something
That isn't "right"
You erase it
Like it had no meaning
Like it never existed
Just so you can sleep at night
And because you can't handle it!
Tell me why that is?!
Is it because
It hurts you or scare you
So much
That you have to correct
LIFE
So that it will be easier
For you to live?
If we were to live life
The same way
With no real, major
Differences
How could we learn
Love
Understanding
Trust
Harmony
And other values we should
Strive for today?
We couldn't.
Point blank
We couldn't.
But even though the world
Is full of different people
And different choices
That lead in different paths
People who feel the need to correct things
All the time
Whether they speak them
Or think them
They can't learn
To love and understand others
Fully
Outside of what they believe
And what they want to see the world
That just keep us back
We can't live in peace and harmony
Like we so DESPERATELY want and need
If people are always filled with corrections
When we should be filled with hope
That what we ourselves are doing
Is right.
To have faith is key
And you must have it within you.
